Course “Intelligent Agents and Semantic Web” contains the elements to provide a student with abilities to design applications of Semantic Web, intelligent web-sites, knowledge technologies and intelligent agents for the Internet. The student learns techniques and methods from Artificial Intelligence that are used in Internet applications. The successful student is a capable designer of intelligent web-sites, web resources, services and applications based on intelligent agents. Such abilities are important if students will work for any company interested in bringing intelligent applications to the Internet. Possible employers are software houses, specialised web-site building companies, financial institutions, insurance companies, telecom companies, Internet providers, web service providers, E-shops, educational and research institutes, etc.
